What we do
Marge Coffing believes in continuing education for herself and others, thereby
dedicating time and money to continually improve her areas of expertise. She offers
seminars, forms publications, audio CDs, and other home-study
materials for investors. Consulting for individual GAREIA, SREIA, TBREIA members and others is
available both on-site and in her office.
Our business history
Marge has been buying and selling houses since 1964 from coast to coast, has been investing in Atlanta since 1981, and Florida's west coast since 2004. She specializes in joint ventures for prime properties which benefit multiple parties.
About Marge
Marge Coffing formed The Mariel Company to handle joint-venture real estate activities,
as featured in Georgia Trend magazine. Marge brings a wealth of corporate and
small business experience to her teachings, and has shared her real estate expertise
regionally and nationally since 1988. She has served as southeastern Director
of Sales and Marketing for Bell & Howell Education Group and also as a member
of the Boards of Directors for: Sales and Marketing Executives of Atlanta, Women
Business Owners of Atlanta, and the Atlanta Women's Network. Her extensive experience
in adult education includes being a faculty member at Ohio State University, Director
of Admissions of DeVry Institute of Technology, author of numerous publications
for the Sears Roebuck Foundation, teacher of Real Estate Renovation with Atlanta's
"Learning Annex", and instructor with the Georgia Real Estate Investors' Association.
Marge was also a featured speaker at Ron LeGrand's national "Real Estate Entrepreneurs' Super Conference" in 1994 and with "Fix Up America" in 1997. Recently Marge shared her insights at GAREIA's Southeastern Regional Conference in 2002 and 2003, as well as their 2004 "Real Estate Diva Conference" in Atlanta.
